From 1979 to the present, the cabin has had full-time year-round caretakers.

We are here for you! Please let us know if you are a first timer and we will provide the information you need. We can’t wait to meet you and have you over for dinner. If you would like to hike up a gift for your hosts, we are always grateful for any kind of produce as it will save us a hike to town!

We are originally from Ohio and now live full time, 365, at Barr Camp. It is a unique workplace in that we get to do a little bit of everything. Anything that needs done for camp, we figure out how to get done. This includes resupplying the camp via our backs and packs in the off season (Nov-April) and working with The Cog railway in the busy season (May-Oct) to load and bring back supplies via ATV.

Come say hello, or email us your questions.
We want to see you at Barr Camp!
